I’ve allways found this a very difficuled program to work with. But thanks to Lennart Moerkens (one of the modellers on the MMORPG dev team) I know the basics and I can actually model and animate in it. I will be making buildings in both hammer and 3D studio Max. I think it will take another year before I can actually model something like a monster, but atleast I know the basics now.
Torque Game Engine Indie
I was finally able to buy the Torque Game Engine Indie lisence from Garage Games. It cost me 100$ (about 80€), but it’s worth it. I downloaded the 1.4 version of the CVS today, and it shows some great improvements to the 1.3 version.

Grand Unified Theory
For decades Einstein has been working on this theory without success. Appartly without knowing, one of the programmers of Valve (the creators of games like Half Life 2 and Counterstrike) has found out this theory. He was assigned to speed up the Half Life 2 physics code. He combined the many different formula’s and found out it all fitted togetter. I’m not 100% sure of the reality of this acticle, but it worth taking a look at:
